Getting started
- How do I post an ad?
- Tap Post Ad at the top of any page, choose what you are offering, add photos and details, and publish. It is free.
- Is Qasvah free to use?
- Yes. Browsing, posting ads and messaging are free. Optional paid features like ad boosts are available but never required.
- How do I stay safe when buying or selling?
- Meet in a public place, inspect the animal in person, and never pay before you meet. See our Safety tips page for the full checklist.
- How do I contact a seller?
- Open any ad and tap to message the seller inside the app. You can ask questions and agree a meeting without sharing your phone number.
Buying and selling
- Is posting an ad free?
- Yes. Creating and publishing an ad on Qasvah is free. Optional paid boosts can give your ad more visibility, but they are never required.
- Do I need to verify my CNIC to sell?
- You can browse without verifying, but verifying your CNIC gives you a trusted badge that helps buyers feel safe and often leads to faster deals.
- How do buyers contact me?
- Buyers message you directly inside the Qasvah app. You will get a notification, and you can reply, negotiate and agree a meeting — all in one place.
- Does Qasvah handle the payment?
- No. Qasvah connects buyers and sellers. You agree the price and complete the payment in person, which keeps you in full control of the deal.
Qurbani Hissa
- How many shares are in one animal?
- A cow, buffalo or camel is counted as seven shares (hissas) for Qurbani. A goat or sheep is a single Qurbani and is not shared.
- Can I book more than one share?
- Yes. You can book as many of the seven shares as are available in an animal — for example two shares for two members of your family.
- Who performs the Qurbani?
- The seller or organiser arranges the animal's care and the Qurbani during the Eid days, following the proper method, and coordinates distribution of the meat.
- When do I receive my portion?
- Your share of the meat is available after the Qurbani is performed on Eid-ul-Adha. The organiser will confirm the collection or delivery details with you.
Trust and safety
- What does the verified badge mean?
- It means the seller has confirmed their identity with their CNIC. It does not guarantee an animal, but it tells you the person behind the ad is real and accountable.
- Does Qasvah hold my money?
- No. You pay the seller directly, in person. Qasvah does not take or hold payments, which keeps you in control of every deal.
- How do I report a suspicious ad or user?
- Open the user's profile or your chat with them and tap Report or Block. Our team reviews reports and takes action against fraud.
